Start your day early with a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to the cruise for check-in. Embark on a full-day excursion exploring the city, beginning with a visit to the High Dam of Aswan, an extraordinary feat of engineering constructed in the 1960s. From the dam’s vantage point, marvel at the panoramic views of Lake Nasser to the south, the Kalabsha temple, and the expansive power station to the north. Serving as a vital source of water and electricity for all of Egypt, the High Dam stands as a testament to human ingenuity.

Continue your journey to the granite quarries of Aswan, where you’ll encounter the Unfinished Obelisk. Here, amidst the remnants of ancient quarrying, lies the massive Unfinished Obelisk, a testament to the ambitious craftsmanship of antiquity. Had it been completed, this colossal structure would have weighed over 2.3 million pounds, making it the largest piece of stone ever handled. What sets it apart from other temples is its distinctive feature of dual entrances, each dedicated to a different deity: Haroeris with his falcon head and Sobek with his crocodile head. Breakfast, visit Edfu Temple,which is considered by most to be the best-preserved temple in Egypt, we will visit this majestic temple that was dedicated to Horus, according to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus got revenge for the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth!. Overnight on ship, cruising to Luxor.

After breakfast, we embark on a captivating journey to explore two magnificent temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Our first stop is the Karnak Temple, an architectural marvel and the largest temple complex ever constructed by mankind. This sprawling complex, a testament to the collective efforts of ancient builders and Pharaohs over generations, comprises three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and numerous outer temples spread across approximately 247 acres of land.

Continuing our exploration, we proceed to the Luxor Temple, once linked to the Karnak Temples by a two-kilometer-long Avenue of Sphinxes. Adorned with imposing statues of the renowned warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has withstood the test of time, surviving Nile floods, foreign invasions, and centuries of exposure to the elements. This quintessential Egyptian temple boasts intricate hieroglyphic decorations adorning its inner walls and columns.

Our journey then takes us to the West Bank of Luxor, where we delve into the Valley of the Kings. Here, amidst the grandeur of its architectural wonders used for royal burials, lie the tombs of numerous ancient kings. You will have the opportunity to explore three tombs, excluding that of King Tutankhamun. We then proceed to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman to have ruled ancient Egypt for approximately 20 years during the 18th Dynasty. Nestled in the picturesque setting of Deir el-Bahri, this temple stands as one of the most exquisite examples of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Our tour culminates with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, towering stone statues depicting King Amenhotep III, a ruler of Egypt during the 18th Dynasty. Following our exploration of these awe-inspiring sites, we transfer to Luxor airport for our return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, we will be greeted at the airport and transferred to our hotel, marking the conclusion of our enriching journey through the wonders of ancient Egypt.
