Today’s itinerary includes a visit to Salah El Din Citadel, strategically built by Salah El Din to defend Cairo from Crusader armies. Explore the impressive Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, designed by architect Yousif Boushnaq, before delving into the historic Coptic area. Discover landmarks like the Hanging Church, St. Barbara’s Church, St. George’s Church, Abou Serga, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Conclude your day with a stroll through Khan El Khalili Market, one of the oldest and most renowned bazaars in the Middle East, before heading to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.

We’ll start your day by picking you up from your Luxor hotel and transferring you to the west bank. Here, immerse yourself in the timeless majesty of the Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs found their eternal resting place. Explore the magnificent tombs of renowned rulers like King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramesses VI, King Merneptah, and Amenhotep II.

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning testament to the reign of Egypt’s only female pharaoh, built into the cliffsides of the ancient landscape. Pass by the colossal statues of Memnon, remnants of a once-majestic mortuary temple dedicated to Amenhotep III.

Afterwards, journey to the east bank of Luxor for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant before delving into the grandeur of the Karnak Temples, a vast complex dedicated to the worship of the god Amun and his divine family. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Temple of Luxor, a marvel of ancient architecture commissioned by Amunhotep III and completed by Ramesses II.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll transfer you to Luxor airport for your return flight to Cairo, where you’ll spend the night.
