Day 1Arrive Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday! Arrive Cairo, pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight – Cairo.

Day 2Cairo Highlights

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full day tour. In the morning, you will be driven to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt, but of the entire ancient world! These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile, you are going to enjoy Camel Ride from 20 to 30 minutes from the panoramic spot, then Lunch will be served in one of the local restaurants, Followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum where most of the fabulous treasures of the Pharaohs are kept: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, where thousands of artifacts are awaiting your visit.

Enjoy a Nile River dinner cruise aboard one of elegant cruising restaurants sailing following dinner is live entertainment provided by a spectacular belly dancing and folklore show. The cruise floats for 2 hours, then transfer to your hotel.

Day 3Aswan

Early morning you will travel by flight to Aswan, Arrive in Aswan, meet and transfer to the cruise for check-in, then you will have a Full-day excursion around the city visiting the High Dam of Aswan, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. From the top of the High Dam you can gaze across Lake Nasser to Kalabsha temple in the south and the huge power station to the north, today it provides water and electricity to all of Egypt, Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where it was carved, had construction been completed it would have weighed over 2.3 million pounds and been the world’s largest piece of stone ever handled. However, a crack in the stone occurred, which caused it to be abandoned the last of the 3 famous Aswan sites you will see today is generally regarded as the best. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site, at the end o the day, you will be transferred to you cruise, Overnight on Cruise.

Day 4Nile Cruise / Kom-Ombo

Cruising to Kom-Ombo, to Visit the dual temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo, , which is a unique Egyptian temple, the fact that standing on high grounds overlooking The Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to divinity: (Haroeris) with his falcon head and (Sobek) with his crocodile head, Halls and courts and sanctuaries all have their almost identical twin in this sacred complex. The over-2000-year-old stone structures are decorated with mysterious hieroglyphics, cruising to Edfu, Overnight on ship.

Day 5Nile Cruise / Edfu

Breakfast, visit Edfu Temple,which is considered by most to be the best-preserved temple in Egypt, we will visit this majestic temple that was dedicated to Horus, according to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus got revenge for the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth!. Overnight on ship, cruising to Luxor.

Day 6Luxor / East and West of Luxor

Breakfast. Today we visit two amazing and beautiful temples in the East Bank of Luxor; The Karnak temple which is the largest temple complex ever built by man, it represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on about 247 acres of land, Continue to Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has survived Nile floods, foreign invasion and thousands of years exposed to the elements, this is a pure Egyptian temple, the inner walls and columns are decorated with intricate hieroglyphics.
Then we will visit the West Bank of Luxor:
first we will be visiting the Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. You will visit 3 tombs excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamun, then we proceed to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty, approximately from 1491 to 1469 B.C, the only woman who reigned ancient Egypt. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. It is located at Deir el-Bahri, Our tour continues with the visit of the Colossi of Memnon statues, two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the Dynasty XVIII, then you will be transferred to train station to catch your overnight sleeping train back to Cairo.
